Congratulations to Wynnum-Manly in their grand final win over Tweed heads. The battle of the seagulls saw the better team win. Wynnum front the outset hit harder and played the dominant game. It was great to sit down with the old man who was visiting and watch the game. Wynnum is just around the corner from where he is and with no East Tigers to barrack for Wynnum were the team of choice.
Can't believe I forgot to mention them in my week-end wrap but making up for it now. Highlight of the game was the fullback for Wynnum who plays dummy half in attack. If this guy is not signed up already I will be amazed. Everytime this guy got the ball I kept expecting to hear Joker & the Thief, his nickname surely has to be Wolfmother.
