The Brisbane Roar have started off where they left off last year. In the Grand Final rematch they have made the Central Coast Mariners look like they have a lot of work to do this season. Purely entertaining game to watch and the skill level of the team was fantastic. If anything the Roar should have scored more goals, credit must go to the young keeper for the Mariners here. But a win is a win and looking at this team and considering they are still gelling with the new players it is going to be a good year.
Also with the news of a new owner of the Roar who is reportable worth millions the future looks good. Reports are also flowing that the new owner is going to produce a marquee player in the next transfer window. I don't think it will be long before the A-League starts being noticed on the world stage. And it will be on the back of the Roar in the Asia Champions League.
